Have you not missed the previous games yet? Fortunately, they came out together for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
The most recent trailer was shown during the Game Awards, which is also super cool. Brian, a former Gamer intern, was kind enough to create a mini preview for us. Metro Exodus should be released later this year for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A fairly obscure series of open world games also set in Russia. For inspiration, the developer has looked to the STALKER franchise. If you don’t do it well enough, you run the risk of losing the feel of Metro. Prokhorov says it’s hard to find the right balance between a Metro game and an open world game. Otherwise you will miss out on a lot of good stories, weapons and more. Much of this is optional, but Prokhorov advises everyone to look for these activities. Every environment is packed with content to lose yourself in, both above and below ground. Metro Exodus, on the other hand, will contain multiple environments with a size of two square kilometers.
The largest level in the previous games is about one hundred by two hundred meters. Individual environments or ‘levels’ alone are a lot bigger. In it, the two men explain that Metro Exodus will be larger than Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light combined. Game Informer also interviewed Metro Exodus creative director Andiry Prokhorov and executive producer Jon Bloch. Obviously, developer 4A has gone to great lengths to increase graphics quality even further over the previous two Metro games, which also look great. It captures the atmosphere of the game well, with beautiful, yet terrifying images of different locations and characters. Game Informer has shown new photos of Metro Exodus.
